Premiering at the UFF 2018 is the Austrian Director Barbara Albert’s feature film: Mademoiselle Paradis, starring Devid Striesow and Maria-Victoria Dragus. The story takes place in Vienna in late 18th century and is built around a young, blind pianist who has an extraordinary gift in playing. After countless number of failed attempts at restoring her vision, her parents turn to Dr. Franz Anton Mesmer, a doctor who works miracles, for help. At first, the treatment seems to be showing immediate signs of recovery.
