28th Umbria Film Festival
July 10/14 – Montone

In case of bad weather screenings and main events will be held inside Chiesa di San Francesco, within the maximum capacity of 90 seats.

Generally, the shows take place in the afternoon from 4 p.m. onwards, except for Saturday 13th of July when the conference “Africa Contesa” (Disputed Africa) will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Chiesa di San Francesco.

There will also be a Concert on Friday 12 in Piazza San Francesco and two ceremonies of granting of the Key(s) to the City: on Friday 12th to the Italian director Alice Rohrwacher and on Saturday 13th to the French director Olivier Assayas.

Don’t miss the conference “AFRICA CONTESA” (Disputed Africa) on Saturday 13th July at 10:30 a.m. and the Award Ceremony of Amarcorti and Montoons on Sunday 14th July at 10:30 p.m.

Shows have limited seating. To secure your seat you can become a member or friend of the association with the “Donate and Be part of it”.

The venues of the events are accessible to everyone. For those with mobility difficulties we provide assistance thanks to the Group of Civil Protection of Montone and an electric minicar transport. Please contact the staff for assistance.

Yes, all screenings (both short and feature films) are subtitled:

– Screenings in English Italian subtitles

– Screenings in Italian English subtitles

– Screenings in any other language Italian and English subtitles

All shows and events are free but seating is limited.

Yes: it is possible to buy Umbria Film Festival gadgets either by cash or credit card.

In indoor locations such as the museum complex of Chiesa di San Francesco it is not possible to bring food and/or drinks.

Dogs are allowed, as long as they are on a leash.

The entire festival takes place in Montone, a small lovely village of Umbria.
