The Umbria Film Festival returns to enliven the Umbrian villages of Montone (Pg) and Umbertide (Pg), in the Alta Valle del Tevere, with an autumn event that from Friday, Oct. 25 to Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024 will offer a calendar of events centered on the original combination of cinema and quality wine and food productions of the territory.
The event is part of the project “Umbria, the flavors of cinema” a tourism promotion initiative strongly desired by the Region of Umbria and curated by the Network of Umbrian Film Festivals, with the aim of promoting the deseasonalization of tourism in the territory through synergy and the original combination of film screenings and sensory experiences, highlighting alternative places and routes compared to the most beaten tourist routes and promoting a deeper knowledge of regional resources with the proposal of walks and trekking to discover the artistic and naturalistic dimensions of the region together with guided tastings in suggestive wineries and oil mills.
