SYLWIA SZKILADZ
Sylwia Szkiladz was born in Poland in 1987 and moved to Brussels at the age of eight. She went on to study at La Cambre, majoring in animation. The Teeny-weeny Fox is her first film since school, co-directed with Aline Quertain whom she met while studying at La Cambre. It was made within the Young Audience Artist-in-Residence program at Folimage Studio in France. Currently, she lives and works in Brussels.
ALINE QUERTAIN
Aline Quertain was born in Brussels in 1989. In 2007, she began studying at La Cambre, in Brussels (Belgian national school of visual arts) majoring in animation films. She spent one year studying in Hungary, at Moholy Nagy University. She acquired her Master’s degree and graduated from La Cambre in June 2012. In 2014-2015 she co-directed a short with Sylwia Szkiladz, The Teeny-weeny Fox, within the Young Audience Artist-in-Residence program at Folimage Studio in Valence, France.
