      Diego Armando Maradona. They have celebrated him as the greatest champion in the history of soccer, reviled him as the devil who would corrupt multiple generations with his bad example, the Masaniello who dared to make Naples great, the captain who took Argentina to the roof of the world by mocking its rivals, political and historical, from England to Brazil. They made him a star, an inspiration, a movie title, he became a film genre. <\/p>

      There is a church named after him, millions of Diego in the world named for him. Idol, myth, icon, cursed star, infinite outlier, D10S and Satan. No one, however, has understood the scope of his political personality, his social charisma, his importance in contemporary history. <\/p>

      Monsters are doors to a world that escapes the dictatorship of the normal. They are a fascinating elsewhere, a distant lure, a hand that grabs our throat, and if at first we think they are strangling us they actually force us to breathe in another way, simply our own. And of all monsters, the Vampire is the one that eternally renews itself with the greatest fury in the collective imagination, which from age to age keeps alive our ability to wonder and disturb us through its unbreakable link with immortality, blood and love. <\/p>

In Maledetto poeta the most cherished (and at the same time suffered) themes of Mattia Labadessa’s poetics converge: the difficulty in personal relationships of love and friendship, the sense of inadequacy, the challenge to find a place in the world, but also the will to come out of it, to emerge, precisely thanks to comics. And poetry. <\/p>

      On October 5, 1962, the first Beatles 45 (Love Me Do) and the first James Bond film (Dr. No – License to Kill) were released simultaneously. From that day, world pop culture was never the same: the “fabulous sixties,” the most creative and inspiring decade of the twentieth century, was in fact born. <\/p>

      Taking its cue from that coincidence, the book (embellished with graphics in the style of the time and historical images) traces the epic of a season that saw the world of music, film, the arts, fashion and costume undergo a shock of gigantic dimensions. Not surprisingly, in those days Time called London “Swinging” while Diana Vreeland, editor-in-chief of Vogue, celebrated the English capital as “the most fashionable city in the world.” <\/p>

      From the primordial soup of the 1950s until the “end of the dream” in 1970, the work focuses on the path that saw music as a catalyzing element that inspired and was inspired by other forms of artistic expression, thus creating a revolutionary and countercultural movement capable of sweeping the world.<\/p>

      The music of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Who, Pink Floyd, Animals, Kinks, Cream and many other legendary rock bands was the perfect soundtrack of those years and still expresses a formidable appeal of great relevance today.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
