Synopsis

For 23-year-old Bill, and 12-year-old Matho, two young men of the Oglala Lakota tribe, growing up on the Pine Ridge reservation is not easy. Bound by a common search for themselves, the two boys grapple with their identities, families, and emotional losses as they travel their own unique paths that will lead them to become men.

Biography

RILEY KEOUGH

She is best known for her roles in MAD MAX: FURY ROAD (2015), THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE by Amy Seimetz & Lodge Kerrigan (2016), Andrea Arnold’s AMERICAN HONEY (2016), Steven Soderbergh’s LOGAN LUCKY – The Logan Con, (2017), Lars Von Triers’ THE HOUSE THAT JACK BUILT, (2018), Wash Westmoreland’s EARTHQUAKE BIRD – Where the Earth Trembles, (2019) and Antonio Campos’ DEVIL ALL THE TIME – The Roads of Evil, (2020). American Honey earned Riley an Independent Spirit Award nomination for best supporting actress, while with The Girlfriend Experience she achieves a Golden Globe nomination for best performance in a limited series or television movie. Riley’s productions in 2021 include Janicza Bravo’s ZOLA and the highly anticipated Amazon series DAISY AND THE SIX from Hello Sunshine.

GINA GAMMELL

She began her career as a director and producer of short music videos and commercials. In 2017 she produced her first feature film, in 2018 she founded the production company Felix Culpa with Riley, and in 2019 she co-directed and wrote her first feature film, WAR PONY. Gina is currently working on post-production of the film MANODROME, by John Trengove (Felix Culpa’s second production), with actors Jesse Eisenberg, Adrien Brody, and Odessa Young.
