Charles McKeown

Born in 1946 in Dudley, England, he is an actor and screenwriter for cinema and television. A long-time collaborator of Terry Gilliam since the days of Monthy Python, in 1985 he received an Oscar nomination, together with Terry Gilliam and Tom Stoppard, for the original screenplay of Brazil. Three years later, again with Gilliam, he wrote The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, the fantastic tale of a legendary European aristocrat of the 17th century, which received four Oscar nominations.
