Amarcorti 2023: This Year’s Finalists and Jury Announced
AmarCorti, the section of the Umbria Film Festival dedicated to the filmmakers of today and tomorrow, returns for its third edition, this year with a major new development: the awards will be presented by a jury of professionals.
The UFF… leadership has changed.
The Umbria Film Festival is heading in a new direction… or rather: it’s moving forward with a new leadership team. Our incredible Artistic Director, Vanessa Strizzi, has decided to take a well-deserved break and has chosen to pass the baton to two equally extraordinary and talented women.
Amarcorti Winners
After careful evaluation of all the short films in the competition, the jury declared Phantom, by Gabriele Manzoni, the winner (at this height about insert sideways photo of Gabriele with the trophy) who thus won not only the prestigious trophy, a splendid creation by Rometti Ceramiche, but also the cash prize kindly offered by Connesi S.p.a.

Get ready for a truly special opening night at the 29th edition of the Umbria Film Festival, which is celebrating a unique birthday this year! On Tuesday, July 8, we're kicking off the Festival with a tribute to a very famous dog who has inspired generations of children: Pimpa is turning a remarkable 50 years old!
