Where does the Festival take place?
The shows take place in three main locations:

In case of bad weather screenings and main events will be held inside Chiesa di San Francesco, within the maximum capacity of 90 seats.
When do the shows start?
Generally, the shows take place in the afternoon from 4 p.m. onwards, except for Saturday 13th of July when the conference “Africa Contesa” (Disputed Africa) will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Chiesa di San Francesco. CONTESA.” presso la Chiesa di San Francesco.

- MONTOONS. Cortometraggi per bambini
- LIBRI DA BERE. Veri e propri aperitivi letterari: incontri con autori, approfondimenti letterari e presentazioni di libri.
Ci sarà anche un Concerto venerdì 12 in Piazza san Francesco e due Cerimonie di Consegna delle Chiavi della Città: venerdì 12 ad Alice Rohrwacher e Sabato 13 a Olivier Assayas.
Non perderti il Convegno “AFRICA CONTESA” sabato 13 Luglio alle 10:30 e la Cerimonia di Premiazione AMARCORTI e MONTOONS domenica 14 Luglio alle 22:30.
Are the films subtitled?
Yes, all screenings (both short and feature films) are subtitled:
- Screenings in English > Italian subtitles
- Screenings in Italian > English subtitles
- Screenings in any other language > Italian and English subtitles
Is entry free?
All shows and events are free but seating is limited.
How can people with disabilities get assistance?
The venues of the events are accessible to everyone. For those with mobility difficulties we provide assistance thanks to the Group of Civil Protection of Montone and an electric minicar transport. Please contact the staff for assistance.
Are the shows seating or standing room?
Shows have limited seating. To secure your seat you can become a member or friend of the association with the “Donate and Be part of it”.
What am I not allowed to bring inside the Festival?
In indoor locations such as the museum complex of Chiesa di San Francesco it is not possible to bring food and/or drinks.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are allowed, as long as they are on a leash.
Are there merchandise stands?
Yes: it is possible to buy Umbria Film Festival gadgets either by cash or credit card.

Where can I park my car?
In Montone there are several parking lots along the walls of the village.
